Buffalo Pharmacies in Syracuse, NY is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for our Long Term Care Pharmacy. We are a growing pharmacy servicing skilled and assisted living facilites in Central New York and looking for qualified candidates who want to work closely with embedded facility care teams to optimize outcomes for their residents. Past LTC Pharmacy experience is not required. 

Job Responsibilities:

1. Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
2. Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and patients
3. Conduct drug utilization reviews to ensure safe and effective medication use
4. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to optimize patient care

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
• Evenings and rotating weekends (on-call) required
• Experience in long-term care pharmacy operations preffered but not required
• Knowledge of drug interactions and non-sterile compounding

Salary: $54.00 - $62.00 per hour
