Soliant Health is looking for a talented Inpatient Pharmacist to join our team at a partnering hospital in Susanville, California! The hope is you will be a good fit for the client and vice versa, if so then theres potential for this role to become a contract-to-hire opportunity!

Travel Pharmacist Job in Susanville, CA

Duration: 13 weeks + Contract To Hire
Start Date: within the next 2 weeks
Position (needing coverage): Interim Pharmacist a open to temp to perm
Licensed Beds :25
Average Daily Census : 10
What skills are required: Inpatient, 3+ years of hands-on, IV, Must have clinical experience. Must be able to independently compound sterile products
Is the specific state license required ? CA
Dates of Coverage needed: ASAP through August. With possibility of extension and/or temp to hire.
Coverage Hours needed: Variable days Sun through Wednesdays every other week and Mon through Thursday every other week
Is weekend coverage needed? Sun 7-11am
Will this person need to take on-call? If yes, what days/hours? Yes, on days scheduled to work (Mondays-Saturday 15:30 to 07:00, and Sundays 11:00 to Monday 0700)
Order Entry System: Cerner
Site Automation : Pyxis, Alaris Pump, Pharmacy Keeper
Site Specialty Areas : Active infusion
Staff Size : Pharmacist 2 FTE, tech 2 FTE
Job responsibilities : Includes order verification, filling orders with correct medication. sterile compounding of medication, checking work of technicians, performing clinical function such as pharmacokinetics, anticoagulation monitoring and antimicrobial monitoring etc. Refilling Pyxis machines. Participate in projects.
Techs role: Tech assists with filling Pyxis on most Mondays through Saturdays.
