The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 3 supports Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation by dispensing Specialty Rx medications. The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 3 performs advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. May apply intermediate mathematical skills.
The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 3 addresses concerns and requests as needed through intake processes from all lines of the business. Will triage concerns that require consultation with a pharmacist. Monitor Specialty Rx orders within carrier networks to facilitate successful deliveries and prevent reshipments. Make outbound calls as needed to discuss concerns and offer a resolution. Work formal complaint cases and provides timely resolution. Partner with 3rd party vendors to manage shipping issues and reporting needs. Regularly exercise discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests to identify resolutions that support the member and the business. This includes interpreting and adapting procedures, processes, and techniques. Assist production in dispensing and inventory areas as needed. Communicate directly with Senior Leadership as needed.

Required Qualifications
Must have an active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of residence (Ohio or Florida)
Must be certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously and strong data entry skills
Positive and proactive with a willingness to be flexible based on business need
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
1 or more years of mail order pharmacy experience
Experience as a Pharmacy Technician OR call center experience in a pharmacy or related call center setting
Working knowledge of RxNova, CRM and/or ScriptMed
Critical thinker who can anticipate team needs and take initiative to present ideas, ask the right questions and deliver the highest quality work
Problem solver who can find viable solutions that meets business needs, absent from all ideal tools and resources.
Experience with grievances and/or member complaints
Moderate working knowledge of Excel
Bilingual in Spanish

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
