Pharmacologist Jobs in New Jersey
A Pharmacologist in the pharmacy industry is a specialized scientist who investigates how drugs interact with biological systems. A Pharmacologist should possess exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and technical skills necessary for conducting various laboratory experiments. They should ideally have a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or a Ph.D. in Pharmacology. They should also have passed the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX) and be licensed to practice. Some roles that a person may hold before becoming a Pharmacologist include being a Pharmacy Technician, a Research Assistant in a laboratory, or a Pharmacist. These roles allow for practical experience and understanding of the pharmacy industry, which is crucial for a successful career as a pharmacologist.
